I am actually a little concerned by the democratic backsliding and support for far-right parties in Germany and Poland.
Perhaps a little hyperbolic but this is how the last war started.

The only reason it keeps happening is due to mass migration.

I think you should understand this weird sentiment since it exists with Ossis too.

Chuds here are Polish nationalists and as such obviously must believe that Poles are a chosen nation, better than others and such, so naturally if Poland is doing good then it's thanks to Poles and if it's doing bad then it's because of the neighbors. There is also hidden inferiority complex which is why Poles will deny whatever good the EU did here, Ossis will deny whatever west Germany did for them etc. You can't explain it rationally, it's pure emotions and sense of self-worth.

I will not bring up Palestine and Ukraine, because they're talked about enough, or all the other conflicts I know less about.
So in a world like this, what are democracy loving people supposed to do, practically? Go around intervening? Or make vapid speeches? I think the former is impractical and the latter is meaningless.
