Did you know? The Caribbean nation of St. Lucia has produced two Nobel laureates: the writer Derek Walcott and the economist Arthur Lewis. As St. Lucia has a population of under 200,000, this makes St. Lucia the sovereign nation with the most Nobel laureates per capita.
Bonus fun fact: Both Walcott and Lewis were born on January 23.
