With that said, I do like what they're doing in the area by the old Recife island and the new Marina. But if they ever manage to fix the whole of the old town and make It friendly for wealthy international tourists it's going to be a bummer.
Sure the smell of piss, urban decay and crackheads aren't misseable, but what other kind of environment brings you clean goth and metal head cuties willing to fuck after just meeting in some moldy communal garçonniere in what used to be a 1950's office by the used book market.
