I have to change my vacation plans because I got sick and used some of my PTO.

Do Americans actually have so few vacation days compared to Europoors or is that a meme
I wouldn't want to work with a low number of vacation days no matter how well the job paid to be honest

sick leave and vacation time is not drawn from the same time account, also sick leave delays vacation, if you get sick right before or during vacation you still get the same total vacation once your sick leave ends.
