Yearly Tunisia gets almost exactly as many tourists as we have population yet unlike Spain we never ever complain about. In fact we all want more tourists.
I think the difference is rent, in Tunisia rent is better than in Spain. I for example rent a 2 bedroom house with a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room and a yard a kilometer away from Sfax city center for 200 USD that's bloody good and split it in half cuz I have a roommate to top it off, my electricity and water bill is Chicken feed especially water and also gas.
Dear Spaniards the problem is not tourists, the problem is the greedy Spanish landowner being a dick to his own countrymen, instead of throwing buckets of tar and feathers at tourists sit down with a boomer for coffee and explain things to him.
