Russia is the former Soviet union, and the largest country of earth.
It's not a blitzkrieg country, they benefit from wars of attrition. And they are winning this one

If russia goes and decides to invade in 1 year there wont be a single soul to show up and defend it. They can raid ukraine regularly with zero consequences.
