i tried to get into it but it never caught my interest. Looks more like a theme park game and i've never liked the artstyle

I played the classic last year, it was good. But I'm shit at the game and it requires socializing.

All the neets, junkies, incels and others play OSRS. I had a warehouse job and every other guy played it.

I often think about those early days of playing WoW in 2005. It was a magical moment and nothing can compare to it.

I still play it to socialise with my brother since we both have kids and don't really get to spend time together drinking like we used to do.

Every expac i got back for 1 or 2 months except cata, warlord, legion, battle, and war within, so I am cured

My first character was a troll male hunter on a private server, yes those existed in 2005. Pets & Autoshot didn't work, mobs didn't automatically respawn nor did their corpses vanish. They had to restart the servers regularly to fix everything lol.

Also I remember you couldn't cast instant spells while moving, fun times.

About the heroin thing yea maybe its like that. I do remember it being very stimulating, but there was also a sense of wonder exploring new areas, playing with other people and immersing myself in the world.

I played a lot of very niche MMOS in the 2000s. One of which was some Korea MMO called Rappelz. I really liked the art style, but I played it very briefly

I didn’t start playing WOW until WOTLK
