NTA. There's nothing we can do. It's stupid to start a war in our position and in modern times.
And without a war we'll never have any foothold there.
It's best to never give them independence but forget about it for the time being. No one can resettle it, nobody wants to live there, it's full of people from different ethnicity that universally hate us so we can't integrate them either. There's a thousand problems and zero advantages to escalate the Kosovo issue.
We should be focusing on the internal state of the country.

I fully agree actually, I want to maintain the pre Brussels Agreement frozen conflict, that would be ideal because "Kosovo" has already lost a quarter of it's population between two censuses. The problem is Vucic is recognising their independence bit by bit, he was brought in power by Merkel to do this and to give them another Kosovo sized (eventually) mining concession for them to turn into a wasteland. Dozens of lithium, oil fracking, and gold mines are planned in Serbia, we ain't seen nothing yet.

Let's be honest, can we even do something about it? Everything except the signing of recognition seems inevitable. One country with less than 7 million people cannot oppose the west.

The worst is we won't profit from it.
But I think it's good. Serbs are in extremely dangerous situation, this time, not because someone wants to kill us, but because we are messing up our own country. We're either going to collapse into a total colony and die out, poor and without any laws, or we'll grab our nutsack and starting to act how we should. It's nice that this process is so fast, so I can know the answer sooner.
