All day thinking "what if"
>what if I had accepted that college opportunity
>what if I had taken a different path
>what if I had ventured outside my comfort zone
>what if things were different

Happens iyc? Cant stop but thinking of this everyday

Same. I'm 29 and got a meme degree and I've wasted all my time since turning 18. No serious relationship ever, had some chanced to study abroad I got cold feet on, stayed living with parents till 23, worked shit jobs and NEET for a few years. I hate myself and constantly think about how I could have done things dramatically different if I really just tried but I've always been lazy and too afraid to try anything radical.

Would probably end up asking the same "what if" question eventually regardless of outcome

When I finished school, I applied for government scholarship to uni in STEM. I did take Economics in high school, so onr day, someone called me from Bank Negara (Central Bank) to offer a scholarship to do Finance overseas. I STUPIDLY declined because I thought STEM was le superior to the social sciences. I ended up getting a scholarship to do Biomed instead. If I had taken the former's offer, I would probably be holding a high ranking job in Bank Negara by now. I did finally ended up with an Associate Professorship but it took 17 years to get it.
