the hardware is good for the price, but their OS and lack of update support sucks
Motorola (owned by Chinese now) is the best Chinese phone brand
also Pixels and the Galaxy S line are better anyway

Eerm, had two phones from them, and while I enjoyed MIUI, and the few apps I had worked flawlessly, at the time of switching to a new model, I was looking for one with video out through usb-c. Samsung had this in their galaxy phones since 2017, and in 2022 not even Xiaomi's highest end model had it while costing well over 1000€.
I'm planning to switch my phone at late 2026, mid 2027. I'll check what's available by then.
