Eastern Europe is not a monolith. You literally put a country with African-tier GDP per capita and an active war on its soil like Ukraine and a country with GDP per capita higher than Japan and one of the highest quality of life rates in all of the world like Slovenia

MASSIVE chud delusions, eastern europe is getting browned rapidly, it's just around 20 years behind the curve compared to the west. You basically get all the downsides of the west without any of the benefits, high costs of living, awful housing houses, public services that are barely functioning and you have to endure all that on a pathetic wage.

As a churka who worked in russia for 2 years and half a year in Hereford picking strawberries, I can say that life is much better in western europe.
One of the reasons is that in western europe the laws function more effectively, whereas in russia I was detained by the police at least twice a week (I had all my documents in order) and each time they took 1500-2000 rubles as a bribe.
And in general, people are kinder and live better (superioer infrastructure) compared to eastern europe.
