the currency has nothing to do with honey per se; he just invented it when he was denied a loan to start a bee farm, so he made the money so he could buy the equipment, and paid back the new currency loan with five years of honey making
I guess OP's pic only said that because he'd sell the honey for that much clover or something, but it's not a honey-based economy, but a peer-to-peer econonomy in a village of ~300 people
