I understand that, but reducing the implication of things to just "ink on skin" and a "flag on a car" is not honest.
If you have a mexican flag on your car, of course border control is going to stop you, and if the "ink on the skin" is a sign of gang membership of course people are going to either conclude you belong to a gang.


It's not comparable to nazi shit, but saying that nazi symbols are "just" pre-historic symbols and that a nazi salute is "just" a greeeting is comparable in the dishonesty.
