In my limited American experience Texas culture and people seem cooler and with fewer of the annoying quirks of California shitlibs, but California mogs Texas in every other way with much cooler nature, bigger economy, and California has cowboys too. Just seems like California is more associated with Holywood, porn and big tech while Texas is portrayed as more down to earth for some reason
