I just met a Brazilian woman married to a Swedish guy who told me she hopes English replaces Swedish as Sweden’s national language and Swedish goes extinct because it was really hard for her to learn compared to English.

English is actually pretty romantic. I feel more affinity for spanish than I do for swedish or german.
