most of the Muslim world just wants to have a stable rich country like them. Saudi Arabia is on its way to becoming secular because they are making Mecca and Medina their own city states (like the Vatican) and Saudis have been trying to Quranic only society where the hadiths aren’t consider cannon. Saudis themselves are mostly all under 30 and their youth is extremely westernized which is why things like esports, anime, music is accepted. There even dating nowadays. They’re basically on their way to become an Arab Norway that hosts international events and profits from tourism
