I've had enough
I recently went to NYC. I booked a taxi from the airport (not JFK but the other one, further) to downtown since I arrived very late in the evening. I paid it all in advance so I wouldn't get scammed at the airport.
My flight was late (1h) but I didn't mind since Booking said the driver was supposed to follow the arrivals and would be there anyway.
When I arrived I turned my phone on and got tons of missed Whatsapp calls by a jeet driver. I apologize for the lateness and let him know at which step I was each time I moved, from my seat to the luggage claim etc.
That fucker started complaining by texts, spamming me.
As I reached the outside he was there and straight up complained to me and said I'd need to pay him a huge tip. He also said he should have not come and he regretted staying.
Anyway, I ignored him but he kept complaining and then called his wife on the phone in jeet language. The whole trip was super annoying.
When I arrived at the renting place, he asked for a massive tip and I said I had no cash, he then asked me to pay with a debit card and I told him no. He started to get angry. I told him to fuck off, that he wasn't polite and that I didn't wanna give him a tip. He got mad but didn't do shit and left while swearing at me.
I later sent a very bad review to his company and I hope he got laid off.
For the record, I always tipped people in restaurants, but this guy didn't deserve a cent. Fuck jeets. Why are they always like this?
