Funny response, and hopefully it sets a precedent about how retarded this whole thing is. Even if the government does force ISPs to block 4chan, they'll probably just set up proxies for it, so you won't even need a VPN to get around it (basically the current state of thepiratebay, which is blocked in the UK, but has thousands of proxy sites that you can easily find just by googling it).

TPB was big enough (and suffered far wider blocks than just in UK) to warrant that kind of attention, 4chan might not be.

Besides, the TPB index for end-users is just a web 1.0 site, they don't submit content to it.
4chan captcha won't work very well through proxies and the constant API traffic needs a bit more oomph than proxying TPB indexes.

But on the other it's such a mind-boggling thing to say.
