I won't go too into it but I managed to end up with a severe infection that led to septic shock, so I was pretty fucked up. I stopped going to work about a week before I finally went to the hospital since I thought rest would help but I got really bad.

Yeah it convinced a few people I know to talk things a lot more seriously, self included. My heart rate had been going insane too but I was also ignoring that like a retard, which was part of the septic shock thing. I was hitting about 160-170BPM just laying in bed for a while, which for perspective is equivalent to if I was going pretty hard on an exercise bike or something.

I was thinking about getting a crested gecko but that's too much even for me atm and bearded dragons are significantly harder to care for.
