I wanna get back into buddhism
When I was a teenager for years I was a Buddhist but I was bullied into stopping it because the religion was seen as weird. I know I sound like a pussy

desire is why rebirth happens
the mind has no permanent independent existence, its created by conditioning.
there's nothing to attain, you cannot attain enlightenment.

Abandon Buddhism and embrace Islam. Buddhism will stray you from the true path, Allah guide you.

I practiced vigorously Theravada Buddhism for four years of my life, through Vipassana meditation. I regret nothing, but it did make me a bit too mellow i think. Everything was ok and that's that.
I attained enlightenment and had really mind breaking visions and revelations. Meditation is amazing but i think buddhism gives life a pessimistic twist, like something is wrong with being alive, as if suffering is some sort of plague we must avoid at all costs.
Not dissing it of course, but just beware that once you go down this pass, life will seem kinda pointless. I didn't like where i was going. So i stopped. Either way i got a lot of good things out of it and it got me out of a very deep dark hole.

So yeah, meditate away friend. Or pray or whatever you need to do to attune to things that are greater

There are certain events that, according to Buddhism, are enlightenment. They are well documented. I had a guide and checked with him, then checked online and it all seemed to make sense
Either way, it's a Buddhist interpretation of what is happening. Perhaps enlightenment doesn't exist and it's just a made up word. But I've lived certain experiences that put away all doubt, like super consciousness.
Do you know that feeling when you wake from a dream abs you're like yeah that was a dream, wasn't real. This has happened to me but in the awake world, where i woke from this reality to realise that what i have been living was a muddy experience and not quite real, but twisted and blurred.
Now, wether you believe me or not it's all up to you. I have no reason to lie or deceive, well perhaps if I'm a troll. But I'll leave that to you. Either way, to believe or not, are both very reasonable choices. Perhaps not believing is more reasonable

I'm just text on a screen, either way
