Do you have garbage mountains in your country?
India
Yes

>A gigantic pile of garbage in India is set to overtake the Taj Mahal in size over the next twelve months.

>Described as India’s ‘Mount Everest of trash’, it measures over 65m (213) feet in height and officials have said it will need to have warning lights installed to stop aircraft colliding with it.

>The mountain of rubbish is more than just a sticking, rotting eyesore – last year a landslide occurred as a result of heavy rains, killing two people.

There is a dump of technical and household waste near Irkutsk, in fact it used to be a mountain of garbage, which is slowly being raked out and disposed of (most likely they just bury it all somewhere). The funny thing is that the dump workers build all sorts of crap there, like iron sculptures of knights, gnomes, transformers and similar crap. There is also a museum there where they exhibit interesting things that people throw in the trash. Copy and paste Иpкyтcкaя cвaлкa TБO into Yandex images to see more stuff they have there.

See those large birds at the top?

They are called greater adjutant and almost went extinct because of lack of trash in the last century.. but because of increasing trash their numbers are bouncing back.

These birds are in their element in this trash mountains. I think there is something deep in this revelation but to put it into words would be rather difficult.
