You don’t quite understand. The man wants to be free in the sense of self-sufficiency. You rightly pointed out that this involves the possibility of doing wrong.

The woman doesn’t want any of that because that’s too much effort. She wants a daddy (could be a Chad, a rich boomer, or government, matters not) babysitting her, but not too harshly so she can do whatever and not get criticized by it.
