Fairly decent country to vacation in. Prices are higher than before but still reasonable. The locals are all either pensioners or highly professional drug dealers, so they're highly unlikely to steal from you or stab you. Gypsies are the ones you need to look out for, they're basically balkan pakis.

Price increase is mostly due to international currencies weakening against the Lek (exchange rate used to be 140 Lek per 1 euro, now it's 91 to 1, which isn't good for a country that relies on tourism and remittances) but that's probably the case as well, especially if you're vacationing in major cities.
