A Thai person is telling me about how some Thais do a holy pilgrimage to a sacred Buddhist site in India.
However, there's a problem Outside the holy temple walls, there are non-buddhist Indians (Hindus) who will frequently steal and rape female tourists so tour guides and priests typically advise Against going outside during the night because that's when the Hindu "rape hordes" roam the streets.
