When people in your country eat using a fork and a knife, do they cut the food and bring to the mouth with the same hand (swapping the cutlery) or do they use different hands?


So, simple example, when right handed people eat a steak, do they tend to cut a piece of steak (or a few) with the knife in their right hand, move the fork to the right hand, eat that piece, switch again and so on or do they just cut with their right hand and use the fork in their left hand to bring the food to their mouths?

They cut with the right and eat with the left, who does otherwise?

Fork goes in the left hand, knife goes in the right one. This never changes unless you're a colonial

I only eat with the fork because autism. When necessary I cut everything up beforehand with the knife and fork so I can eat with just the fork afterwards.

I spend a couple of minutes cutting, and then put the knife down for the rest of the meal.
More efficient that way
