As someone who has been living in Mexico, let me tell you something. The average mexican is a lazy and scornful scoundrel that only wants to be given things for free. Even those who fleed to America do bare minimum on their jobs and them screech at the evil people and blame them for their problems, all while claiming to be the victims when they get deported because they went there illegally and broke the law multiple times. In Mexico is much worse because mexicans will conspire against each other in a scheme called "el que no tranza no avanza". Mexicans aren't grateful if they receive charity either; in fact, they think they deserve charity above anyone else and get mad when they don't. On top, the politician class only cares about leeching off, so instead of trying to impeove the country so people don't have to leave, they make it worse because they can always leech of the middle class and from migrants in America who send money back to Mexico.
And why mexicans support them instead of rebelling? Because they promised them gibs, and as long as they get it they will remain tame and happy.
