In the modern capitalist west all trade, industry and media are controlled by the state. Try to disobey the anti-iranian sanctions or the anti-cuban embargo, for example, and you'll see how "free" the "market" is. Class collaborationism isn't socialism. Nor are any regulations imposed upon the free market. Unless the economy is collectively controlled by the working class through a planned economy and the private ownership of the means of production has been abolished then it's capitalist.
Nazi Germany had a market economy which operated by means of the profit motive, and private ownership. In a capitalist state, the state is of a bourgeois character and appeals to their class interests so any "public ownership" is necessarily private in character.
Socialist countries either abolish the market and private ownership right away or intend to gradually phase them out. Nazi Germany did neither and carried out mass privatization of industry.
