I sometimes wait for discounts. Home One initially cost 3k baht (95 USD), which is even more expensive than in the US. Waited for them to slash the price by over 30% (down to about 60 USD) before buying.

True, but I find the sales to be sporadic and I usually miss them. I won't get the Home One mini anyway because a) I'm an Empire fag and b) it looks terrible. It doesn't capture the look of the Mon Calamari ship design very well.

I got myself a Millenium Falcon last time but I donβt get any brick sets anymore. My homes is getting too cluttered and Legoβs price is unjustifiable nowadays.

It's really rewarding to build. The asymmetrical design keeps it from feeling repetitive (you start with the middle section, followed by each side hull). Because of the rounded curves, it feels less like stacking pieces and more like tacking on armor plating. I prefer it looking like this anyway, a direct 1:1 Calamari design would've been a pass since I don't use it for Star Wars but my own homegrown setting.
Got this and several pre-Disney SW sets. But as a child I used to play with a local product named Tente whose locking mechanism had nothing to do with the ones used by Lego.

Given the current prices, I'd say going to a sexshop and purchasing a specific toy meeting your needs would be cheaper for you....
(Just don't be a troll)

Mostly Bionicles from both generations. Got pic related like year ago from local marketplace.
Latest classic LEGO set I bought was cool 70612 mechanical dragon.
