but anyway, without a linguistic community both sides are closed in their bubbles and barely interact with each other, knowing very little about the other country but few stereotypes, usually outdated

Poles and Lithuanians still largely think about each other through the lens of 19th century stereotypes because that was the last time when we still spoke the same language (Lithuanians commonly spoke Polish back then) so we had a large degree of mutual interaction and stereotypes could have arisen. Nowadays we don't really know much about each other, both Poles and Lithuanians know more about some irrelevant news and events in North Carolina or New South Wales than in each other's country.
