I have a friend that I didn’t contact for a couple of years despite our closeknit group during Secondary school, I drifted away due to personal factors but a few months before I had to go for my national service, I gave him a call and we planned a relaxing trip across Japan. We still meet up now and then but it’s only once after a few months to a year since we’re both introverts. The strength of friendship isn’t the number of times you meet.
