thirdies often forget that nowadays in every western city there are ethnic restaurants and shops of all possible cultures/nations/cuisines so they lost their only advantage they ever had over firsties (better food).

You really don't know if you don't experience it
Bakery goods are a staple in our culture in the whole country, you really can't get the same experience abroad

Its still better to go to a real bakery because you don't know if a gypsy threw them on the floor

I know thirdies love coping like this but at this point you can often find better thirdie food in western cities than in their thirdie homeland. If I wanted to try the best of Indian cuisine, my destination would be London, not Mumbai.

Brazilian cuisine must be pretty shit judging how unknown it is in the world and how few Brazilian restaurants/stores are there outside Brazil. To the point so pretty much the only universally famous BR dish is sopa de macaco lmao.

“Bakery” snacks in Uk are sausage rolls and jamboms which are abhorrent but they also have Cornish pastry which is decent

>sausage rolls
Bro, that's the same shit my grandfather (the Mexican one) likes to buy here in Mexico. I would be a happy man with sausage rolls and shitty pepperoni pizza.

I remember I once had a tuna fish empanada in A Corunha, Galiça, Spain which tasted like what I imagine "home" should taste like. It was a vaguely familiar, cheap taste, not too different what you can find in Mexican grocery stores, but still extremely well-prepared.
10/10, well done galegos.
