Gets from A to B and, most importantly, it's cheap.

Western carmakers (especially overpriced Eurotrash) are dead brands walking. Literally cannot compete.

Who would want an EV to begin with? It's only a matter of time before cops get the ability to remotely disable your electric car. If they're pushing for that in America it's basically guaranteed to become a reality in Australia too eventually.
