Do you have miserable memories from childhood?
When I was in the Boy Scouts, there was a Japan-UK exchange event. I was still a child and didn’t understand English, and of course they didn’t understand Japanese either. Our leader told us to exchange name cards, so we quietly did that. After that, there was nothing to do, and being the youngest, I just stood there alone, lost in thought. Even now, thinking back, it still feels empty and makes me feel sad.

My ex-mother was abusive too, that's why my parents divorced. In Japan, people tend to think abuse usually comes from fathers, but in reality, abuse from mothers is pretty common as well."

It’s just that being on 4chan always makes me remember this story. Honestly my whole life’s been negative since I was born, and thanks to my stupid good memory I end up holding on to every little shitty episode like that.

Is it true that in a traditional Japanese household when the father goes on work trips for long periods of time, it's the son's duty to prevent the mother from becoming sexually frustrated? I read a lot of manga and this always happens

I hated my childhood. I have no purpose or desires in life, but the wish to give some boy the happiness I never had.

I won’t be able too though.

I don't know, nothing too crazy just my father hitting me and saying mean things, but whatever, I'm fine, and I don't really care about any of that.

I spent a LOT of days awkwardly standing around trying to make myself look like I was doing something because I originally had a small friend group of three losers including myself, but one of them managed to squeeze into a big group of normies and I had to follow my friends to their parties and bonfires.

As a child I had my very own pony, but I always dreamed of having a lamb.
I was never allowed one, sheep were seen as peasant animals, utterly unsuitable for the scion of a noble line.
The trauma haunts me to this day, I think about it every time I had roast lamb for dinner

Orphan since I was four. I have no memories of my parents except some very faint ones of mom playing and singing with me.
They died in a car crash in 1995. I was in the system from then on until I turned 18, pure misery the entire duration.

Grim. I’m sorry. At least you live in the modern world and have the internet, vidya etc. imagine being a mediaeval orphan!

Bruh being an orphan in medieval Europe was almost always equal to being raised a sex worker/slave from the moment you were alone.
Sure I had my fair share of creepy social workers and temporary homes but I always had the option to just run off. When my "handler" got a bit too touchy/comfy with me when I was 13 (he was a big santa looking man) I fucking ran, told the in-house nurse/carer and she went fucking old testament on the dude. He was fired within the hour.

You didn’t have any aunts, uncles, or grandparents to look after you?

my childhood was happy. there was no internet. I fished and swam in rivers. I would go to a field full of blackberries, jabuticabas, and mangoes and picked them right off the plant. i had a lot of friends. we played in the street and went to all kinds of parties and festivals. my mother was loving, and my father worked all day.
life was so simple.
