Start a war on weird pretenses and send hundreds of thousands of men to die in a imperialistic power grab WILL cause violent revolt in Sweden, and problaly also rest of Europe aswell. There is simply no way to suppress the population.
Police and military? If they get too authoritarian, the police become targets aswell.
Strict propaganda? Only works on people like you who have lived generations under it.
Maybe a few generations in the future who have been conditioned on AI propaganda, but not in our lifetime.
