they might be chill in everyday interaction but they have extremely strict social rules which translate to legal rules too
simply some things are voerbooten and there is no way to debate it, even if it seems ridiculous or absurd. And on the other hand, some other strange things are allowed or even kind of obligatory. Like let's say you cannot have window curtains, you HAVE TO let every person passing along your house see what happens inside and on the top of that, Dutchies have this custom of walking naked inside of their house. So when you walk around a random Dutchie suburb you will usually see dozens of fat butts of Dutch boomers, whether you like it or not.

After being woken up by my bastard neighbor hammering his floor early in the morning for like a week straight, I can confidently say I hope all inconsiderate noisy people get fucking flayed and left to rot.
