They were unpopular but got into power when Hitler appointed them as leaders of a fascist puppet state after he invaded Yugoslavia. This state was also cucked to Italians, who controlled it and took a chunk of its territory. The aim of this state was to genocide Serbs and other minorities. A multi-pronged civil war then broke out which was won by communists. The fascists then escaped to Argentina and Australia.
