that's total bullshit
the creators of hollow knight are all worth over $50M each

the creator of stardew valley will soon be the world's first self-made billionaire without hiring a single other employee
game development is a sink or swim industry, instead of crying about the profession HE CHOSE to get into he should just get good

but maybe I'm wrong about this, maybe there should be an option to send tips to indie game devs through twitch when someone plays their game. I think that would be cool too.

the problem with capitalism is the only people who determine who deserves what are the people with money willing to spend

average person is an idiot. in australia the average person has lost AUD$1850 to sports betting (meaning half of australians have lost more than that)

people are just ultra-susceptible to forms of entertainment like twitch streaming and sports betting

you are right, 99% of streamers are morons that try to ragebait people, absolute net negatives to society, and yet that's what the people want.

That's not really how it works. Gambling is one of those things where 20% of the players account for 80% of the bets.
