it can be tough but islamically the woman doesn't have to do anything like that if she doesn't want to, it would still be the man's responsibility to pamper her and take care of her.
But if she is willing to work then there's nothing wrong with things like farming or taking care of animals, as long as she isn't doing it alongside other men (close men in the family are allowed)
Afghanistan is still kind of in a transitional period with what they're doing. They banned women from colleges for example and said they're going to create women only ones. If you go there in public you shouldn't really be seeing any women unless her brother, father, husband, etc. is taking her somewhere. Even the farmers in general and mostly men and the women can just chill, but there's nothing wrong with them working alongside male family members if they want to.
In islam there's "mehrams" (close blood relatives) you can free mix with and you don't have to cover around them either.
