I thought that abroad I would finally feel like a human being, not just a Pole. But after many years, I realized that it is there that I am most Polish, and only here, in Poland, I can be a human being. I can, but am I?

Depends, there are countries with a very small Polish community where there are no negative stereotypes and prejudices against Poles and you can just bee yourself there.
Just don't go to typical emigration destinations like Germany or UK because every Pole is seen stereotypically there like a working class diaspora even if he's educated and civilized.
