What type of salary could you live on? No joke I was considering hiring a pinoy to grind some MMOs for me. Playing video games for 6-8 hours per day, not that bad.

We're the only country in the world that has an age limit 18-23 and require a college degree for minimum wage jobs like fast food and convenience store.

Getting a minimum wage job is easy as fuck here, but I don’t want to get a job where I’ll be stuck or where I won’t learn anything useful for the future (like flipping burgers at Burger King), so I’d rather stay jobless

Yes, you can work in a nursing home, regardless of your educational background. Many foreigners who cannot speak Japanese also work there.

Yeah but you are gonna want to throw in the towel after 3 months and most likely it will be from your co workers. Get a trade or anything education etc. You don’t want to have to deal with adults that has zero sense when it comes to ethics and responsibility when you are sharing the same work space thats just the way it is

I live in Midwest US and I've gotten almost every job I applied for and have gotten a reply for all of them regardless. The issue is we have shit schools so everyone's uneducated and nobody with an education moves to the Midwest so the jobs avaliable represent that

I was a neet for over 10 years when I decided to sort my life out at 33. I managed to get a shitty general labor job, and I had to lie my ass off to get it, fake resume, fake references, etc. The job sucked but I worked hard, I became the best guy on my crew, and my employer noticed this and eventually promoted me to heavy equipment operator. They did all the training and really wanted me to succeed because I had such a good attitude. Life is good now, making decent money in a pretty comfy job, and I have a car, my own apartment, and a gf.

You can, but it will be tough. If you’re healthy you should just join the army, navy, or Air Force and try to get a decent government job after. If you’re not you’ve kinda just gotta take what you can get and work your way into an arrangement that doesn’t suck.

>>214466492
My brother did something similar. They ended up paying for his college and now he’s one of their engineers. All jobs suck but some are comfy relatively speaking. You just have to work your way into them. They won’t fall out of the sky.

Why would you be stuck? Minimum wage jobs are fine to get some experience and spending money while you go through school or apprenticeship or just time finding something better. I knew a guy that worked in fast food until he was 27, then a restaurant and bar until he was 34 but in that time he got promoted to bartender, and then at 36 started with other bartenders their own bar and restaurant, which seems very successful as far as I can tell. There’s opportunity in most things if you’re willing to compete for it. It’s a dog eat dog world unfortunately but the silver lining is that it’s pretty simple: get aggressive and you get to eat.

Minimum wage in Mexico is some sisyphus shit. Like 9-12 hours daily and people don't really achieve anything in their jobs.
