Zoomers are basically running on energy drinks at this point. last month i went to a festival where charli xcx was headlining. They had a corner selling booze, but way more people were crowded around the coca cola and energy drink stalls, and those were selling like crazy. And get this, in Korea they're literally selling drinks that mix iced americanos with energy drinks.

Even recently, many posters here have been posting energy drinks more than alcohol

Zoomers are the biggest fucking pussies of all time. My younger siblings are scared to drive let alone drink too much or smoke a cigarette. For whatever reason weed and vapes are considered fine despite being just as fucking bad for you and way less fun.

I'm working on getting them converted tho, I'm not a promoter or hardcore alcoholism but if you don't drink at least once a week you're kind of a freak.

As someone born in 88, not drinking as a teen was unthinkable. You went out with friends, you bought booze from the local "dealer" and you got fucked up every weekend.
If you went to a party, you drank.
If someone offered a drink, you accepted.

Not drinking back then was seen as "pussy behavior". Today, trying to force someone to drink has the opposite effect. You'll be asshole nobody wants to be around.

A lot of people are generally more conscious about harmful things like that. It's a very good thing. Alcoholism used to be rampant here, and every party or even a business trip meant getting borderline wasted. There was no saying no to that, either. Now the younger generation is more reasonable when it comes to alcohol, and gulping down litres of the cheapest garbage just to get drunk isn't the norm anymore.
