I literally have no idea what’s going on in the world. I don’t know who is winning what war or who is dying from what famine.
Anyone wanna give me a brief international rundown about the state of the world?

Basically think of several farmers. One has cows, one has pigs, one has turkeys, one has horses. To keep things going they convince the animals the ones in different pens are their enemies.

The farmers are friends and work together, the animals live in ignorance and get eaten.

ukraine and russia are at war, basically a slavic civil war to decide the fate of the decaying remains of the USSR. Russia will likely collapse after Putin's death, or at the very least change substantially, and this war is part of that transformation. at face it was a land grab but underneath it's the last battle of a once great empire.

Violence in the middle east is on the rise due to Israel's increased aggression towards Gaza. In the last few decades they've neutered their muslim opponents, and they continue to do that now, with the assassinations of entire regimes like the Iranians and the Houthis. Attention on Gazan civilian casualties has caused American support for the israeli military to come under scrutiny, especially among Zoomers.

In South America there is a massive economic transition occurring, with El Salvador and Argentina undergoing significant social changes as a result. Violence in South America is still high, gang violence not directly associated with regime changes, but cartel wars for control of the drug trade.

Europe has continued to stagnate economically into the 2020s, with a high degree of attention placed on their bureaucratic environment causing new business to struggle. The migrant crisis, largely driven by illegal immigration, has caused a significant contraction in public interest in immigration, including through legal venues.

East Asia is roaring into the future with massive infrastructure projects and industrialization. China has spearheaded advanced manufacturing, leading the charge with EV, semiconductor, and solar, competing with top American orgs in sectors like AI despite sanctions. South Korea continues to rise, taking up the helm from Japan's continued contraction driven by a demographic crisis.

Africa is developing, but the situation is rocky. Rwanda and Botswana have spearheaded social transformations to build developed cities and roads, although critics say at the expense of human rights violations.

>Argentina undergoing significant social changes as a result
In fact, no, the government continues to lose popularity and will lose the elections.
