the last time i went to the dentist was earlier this year, in taiwan.it cost me about £50 for a checkup, the hygenist, and a filling all in one day that i booked the day before

in the uk a check-up will cost me about £50 and the hygenist around £80
if if need a filling it will cost something like £150 and that's for some crappy metal one because they charge extra if you want it white so it actually looks... normal
and since i just booked it a few days ago, the next available appointments are in 6 weeks time
they spoke better english on the other side of the world too

i searched it up assuming i didnt have any insurance
if i wanted to be cheap about it i could go to the college and have it done by students and they give you a big discount there it'd cost 25 dollars for a full cleaning plus i guess an an extra ten for the following visits
then i found this other dental place that is offering cleaning, exam, and x-rays for 99 dollars
idk seems pretty reasonable to me if you shop around a little

No I had a root canal done(because I stupidly put off seeing a dentist for too long)and the public insurance covered it.

I had a root canal done for free with Medicaid, but I never got a crown because it was $400.
