I'll let you in on a little secret: everyone in the Middle East is a mutt. So many peoples from every civilization that was in the area has conquered and raped the place and its inhabitants that you can find any phenotype if you try hard enough.

For example one of my classmates in highschool was so white he would literally turn pink in the sun (he couldn't tan) and had blond hair and green eyes. Both his parents are Egyptian and his clan has probably been here for centuries. I look slightly Levantine myself and I've seen other Egyptians who look like Churkas, some who look like typical Nafris, some who look like Turks, some who look like Ngubus and everything in between, because we've been conquered by so many different groups who all mixed with the locals, and our endogamy keeps distinctive traits in the same few families for centuries if not millennia.
