Yes. I was christian until I was 14 growing up in the Bible belt and everyone I knew being Christian and going to a religious elementary. Then I was agnostic at 15 or so then let it go all together and just became atheist which I've been for the last 14 years.

I can't take people completely seriously if they're unironically religious. Same with people that believe in ghosts or astrology

I lost my Child faith when i was around 12 and then became Christian again at around 21 after i started reading the bible and looking up things when i didn't understand. I started going to church a year ago. I don't want to force my faith on anyone but i thing people should try to read the gospels and maybe look up explanation if they don't understand. In my experience i find that atheists who hates Christianity rarely have any understanding of basic Christian teachings, my brother who mocks me and God didn't even know that Christian's believe that Jesus is God.

God became man, he can do it because he is God, he did it to die for our evil actions so that we don't have to be punished for them. God is just and has to punish evil but he loves us so much that he took the punishment on himself so that we could go free IF we choose to believe in him.

don’t be mean, its a complicated concept and the logic for why things are seen that way was originally a mystery that catholics needed to be primed to accept, just like Scientology. The idea of three beings being one at the same time requires you to reject the western concept that for a scenario there can only be one truth, and that there can’t be contradictory truths. This is an element common to many religions, mine own included, but it does go against conventional thought.

It's a "complicated concept" just as any other miracle that is only understood and accepted via faith.

So a donkey flies to the moon with mohammed on the back, and in no way do you question where is the logic in that, and think you didn't need to be "primed", it's not "comlicated" to you despite it being against nearly every science, and according to you it's a completely "typical thought".

So your problem is thinking God as creator of thought and logic has to submit to his creation. It goes against conventional thought because the nature of God goes far beyond your conventional thought.

I don't hate Christianity but I think like the vast majority of its teachings are from Paul having mystical visions and not what Jesus and John the baptist were preaching, which was of a heavily apocalyptic nature aimed squarely against the Roman's that's been heavily downplayed ever since.
And personally it's never felt right that the ethical and moral teachings became secondary to the metaphysics of Jesus being God.

Not OP but it is a little fucked that you can't put the genie back in the bottle and trick yourself into believing again when you've read all this shit about how if there is no God then life is inherently meaningless. Like the brain just doesn't accept it all at once, the scales fall from the eyes, you see that there is truly no justice in this world, no being who counts the tears of oppressed and hated. There's no messiah or age to come where everything will be made right, where all manner of man's inhumanity to fellow man will be reckoned and all the blood spilled will have meaning put to it.
Losing this feels like finding out your parents actually are having their house foreclosed and have been closeted meth addicts your whole life and you're only realizing once you see all your belongings on the side of the curb in trash bags.
I try not to think about finding a new belief and still be kind and empathetic towards others the best I can while studying history philosphy and other religions, just trying to find what common thread runs through our various human beliefs.

The male war-god of heaven is a universal (Catholic) belief as the natural law implies this kind of God. YHWH being a storm god, the same as Jupiter and Zeus, is an affirmation, not evidence contrary, of God's universality and the natural law persistent in the human psyche. His merging with El or Elohim, the war god and leader of heaven is a return to form. El is coincidentally identified as Ptah by the Egyptians in another incident of returning to form Christianity, specifically Catholicism, is the successor to the patriarchal religion of the Proto-IndoEuropeans where Dyeus Pter rules all and has subjected the divine feminine to his household. Just as the PIE killed all the Mother-worshipping farmers of the Chalcolithic world, the Catholic Spaniards destroyed the Aztec religion that decreed the war god Huitzilopoctil was birthed by the mother-god Coatlicue (making the war-father inferior to the life-mother). Every civilization that worshipped the war-god of heaven (Tengri, Tian, Inazuma...) has prospered but matriarchy has always failed, and this matriarchy has made its way back into vogue due to the moral degeneration of society. Therefore, it is important to not fret over identitarian word games but commit yourself to the only thing that can elevate you, since nothing else can as proven by history.
