We're a socialist country that had a socialist revolution to ban american companies from the country. We built monuments imitating soviet infrastructure and created an offshoot of socialist realism called muralism. Our national anthem was written right after being defeated by the US and calls for every son of the patria to become a soldier. We have an entire internal culture war about rejecting Americanization and "whitexican" stuff. We have a museum to a group of children who decided to plunge themselves off a cliff rather than surrender the flag to the US. We lost over half our country to the united states and were only spared due to being considered racially inferior and too many to genocide. We're to this "modern" day still harassed and murdered by both police and mass shooters.

When you push an entire race like that, what else do you expect?
