that is the worst thing about 4chan. on twitter or something you legitimately become good friends with the posters you post with. here? there's nothing that remains

that's definitely true
the best solution would be for 4chan to embrace tripfag culture. I wish we had 100x more tripfags on here

that's the best part, transitory brotherhood via pure merit and pure merit alone. You may have laughed with the same person you did 3 years ago, or you might have laughed with someone new. its a transcendental kind of friendship that goes past time and space.

it's the same threads by the same people every day. even the people who make unique threads use the exact same format every time. i guess after ten years, you're still a newfag.

I don't want online male friends, what's the point. These discussions are enough. I don't care enough to check in with irl friends either.

The insane thing is that this board discusses the same things, with the same archetypal replies, and arrives at the same conclusions, everyday. Even the latest Twitter screenshot posted has the same replies, and is discussed across 10 subsequent threads in the same way.

Someone diligent could list 50 template thread OPs and they would cover 98 percent of all threads posted this year. The only explanation for /int/ is that its motivated by a need for human connection, nostalgia for the old board or just plain autism.

Every board is like this if you spend enough time on them, there's a minority of users who make the vast majority of posts, eventually it all becomes recognizable. 4chan is pretty dead.
