We're an ESL country but a huge strata of our society especially the corporate world and certain social groups exclusively operate on english. It's honestly so bizarre. Imagine a society built and ran on poorly structured sentences and mispronounced words. Are there any other countries like this?

Yes codeswitching is the norm here, and it really pisses me off. They speak 3 languages and all of them badly.
