At the risk of sounding like a zigger, Finland are hardly a real NATO member. They got an expedited path to membership purely because of the invasion of Ukraine. It was purely symbolic, basically NATO tapping the sign and reminding Russia that they still exist. If Russia invaded Poland I think it would absolutely trigger a conflict, but if they were to attack Finland I think it would immediately turn to meeting with heads of state rather than the use of the defensive pact NATO is supposed to represent. No one is willing to die for Finland except Finns.

I'm 100% sure Russia will invade the Baltics by 2030 because the West showed it has 0 resolve and their deterrence is null, sending a few ammo packs and 10 rockets already has EU citizens crying tired like they spent 10 years fighting a world war.
So the second the war in Ukraine pauses, Russia will set up soldiers on the borders with Estonia and Latvia and maybe in Belarus, demand NATO rolls back to 1997 status and the US dismantles all military infrastructure and leaves Europe. Putin, Lavrov and Peskov will of course deny there are any plans for invasion because Russia has never invaded anyone in human history.
Then NATO will reject Russia's benevolent offer, Putin will say that fascist regimes in Riga and Tallinn are genociding Russians and he has to protect them and launch another "special denazification operation". In the meantime, millions of shills online will seamlessly switch from "Russia won't invade because why would it" to "Baltics had it coming, they poked the bear and Russia was forced to special operate".
