Wars are often pretty easy to predict in advance. Ukraine had decade of buildup, everyone knows Taiwan is going to happen, and it seems pretty damned likely a Greco-Turkish war will as well. Unless the Turkish military has strong amphibious landing capabilities and control of the sea the war would likely just turn into yet another attritional slog in Thrace.
